i have a blaster that i was thinking of putting a yz250 motor in it. i was wondering if anyone has done this or something similar. how hard would it be and would it require a lot of fab work. lemme know i would greatly appreciate it. thanx

because on a dirt bike the vibrations aren't as present because there are only 2 wheels on the ground.

this is the theory as i have heard it

and this swap has been done a few times

I just happen to be working on some pipes for that very swap :)..burp!

Using 2 different Pro Circuit pipes. An 89 and a 93 which was suposed to be good for the Ohlins kit. The first couple bends are the same so I'll only need 1 with a flange. The major part of the expansion chambers are different. With the removable joints I will easly be able to swap expansion chambers to test and with either pipe the length will be the same as it was originaly. Kinda hard to explain with beer but I'll do a thred when it's done.

I dont know how much I buy the "only 2 wheels on the ground" bit.

I wonder if it has to do with difference between forks and front shocks on a quad.

Dunno

But theres no way it has to do with the amount of wheels on the ground. Or I should say, I cant see it being that.
