Ok so i just had my 05 blaster bored .20 and new piston and rings and it was running and idleing fine when i took it apart but i wanted to freshen it up so i got it bored but now itl surge at idle and usually just die out. You can rev it fine but it wont idle. Wat can this be ?

gasket areas , every 2 stroke motor that is built should be subject to a leak down test before first start up and a heat cycles

I'll be doing one soon. my top end is done and i'm just waiting on seals and gasket kit to come in the mail. before I assemble.
But after I get it together, i'll be doing a leak down test on it !

The line should be blocked off.
Leaks often happen between the reed cage and jug, especially if the bolts have been tightened up too tight or unevenly, causing warpage.
You need to use a high temp sealant on there.
Bolts should be tightened evenly (diagonally) to 5.8 ft lb.
