always through first it pulls , half way through second gear it start bogging down then itll will kick back up with some power an third doesn't have any power at all unless your flying even downhill it bogs down when u give it throttle the carb was recently rebuilt an I run 92 octane cuz its mixed heavy it had a top end rebuild not long ago , the problem would happen b4 the heavy mix as well and second gear is getting better or so it seemed today as I'm still slowly breaking it in , any suggestions?

check your plug. i've had similar problems with my quads. on my 250ex, i would go to do a wheelie and it would die and make a high pitched electrical noise, most likely the coil. i'd have to take it out of gear and restart it. just replaced the plug and it runs like a champ. i'd look at jetting too. pretty much what blaster '01 said.

jetting problem meaning what? Rebuilt carb within a week ago, plug maybe but wouldnt that make it hesitate in neutral an first as well? Air filter is clean if that were the problem or the plug wouldnt it do that in every gear an make a diff in rpms not gears , did I mention I have no clutch? Would that matter?

when my carb was jetted wrong and i had a bad plug it ripped threw 1st and 2nd gear just fine i think its just cause it such a low gear it raps out real quick and it dont have to hold the gear out at all but thats just my input

listen pull carb bend float needle retainer b/c you are running out of fuel so dont keep riding hard b/c u will burn up motor, real easy to do just bend outward ever so slightly
