Blaster help!!

Hello I have an older blaster that won't start. Was running great until it just died. Now it just back fires when I try to start it. Any help would be great.

Check the reeds.

yep, I'll second a broken reed petal,
or a sheared woodruff key on flywheel can both cause back firing

Thanks guys checked the reeds today only to find the piston pretty chewed up on the intake side. Just rebuilt this bike and it's got about 20 hours on the top end.

Did the piston drop a chunk off the skirt and fall into the crankcase.

Hopefully for his sake it didn't.

If anything went in there though it needs to come apart.
