blaster has no spark

My blaster came with no key or the full key thing. I removed the tors system and im not sure if thats the reason my bike dosent have spark when i put the plug to a bolt and kick it over slowly or if because i dont have the key system. Is there a way i can rewire it so i dont need to get the key system. All i have is a plain black wire and a white and black wire dangling. Any help. Could it also be the coil cas the cap that plugs onto the spark plug came off and a pushed it bak on.

If the wires are not touching you should have spark, open circuit key switch is GO.

before 2003, all wire from TORS can be unplug without any consequence but after you need to twist them together for make the ground circuit ''close''. (making the reverse that the TORS make when the throttle stay open for cut spark).

If this is ok check these thing below:

- spark plug
- spark plug gap (0.7-0.8)
- spark plug cap resistance (4-6 OHM)
- kill switch
- main switch
- primary coil (1.44-1.76 OHM) Secondary Coil (5.28-7.92 KOHM)
- plug cap (4-6 OHM)
- Source coil (192-288OHM)
- Pick UP Coil (16-24OHM)

If everything are OK replace CDI module.

Also if your plug cap came off, now would be great time to take it back off, cut 1/4" off wire and install (dab of dielectric grease recomended). The end of the wire gets corroded , weak contact.
