Blaster Exhaust

There is a gasket that is metal with a high temp material woven into it. It is a little larger than the space it is to take up so the squish theory will fill the void and seal the manifold to the cylinder.

A high temp silicone like Permatex Ultra Copper should be used to fill any inperfections between the face surface of the manifod to the mating surface of the cylinder. The welding process to this part will most definetly cause some warping and this is the only way to combat leaks.

I have taken many motors apart that have used this silicone and had to pry the manifolds fron the cylinders. Yes it does work if applied properly.
