Blaster engine noises

Hi
I have a quick question, I am kind of new to the blaster and the 2 stroke engine, although I am having a blast riding this thing.
Do these engines make alot of different rattling sounds,LOL ,mostly at idle

yeah, that seems to be common on the aircooled 2 stroke motors

one more thing , seems like alot of problems that are discussed here. is it real common for these things to break down,or is it just that there are so many blasters out there, that alot of things happen

they are prone to top end failures mainly from inpropper jetting and tuning of the carb properly, rich is good $2.50 for a new plug or toolean $250.00 for a new top end @ the shop

I would NOT say its supposed to have all kinds of rattling sound at idle! ..

I can tell you I had theese rattle sounds.. it turned out to be a faulty needle bearing in the crank.. and because i ignored it the motor completely seized up as small metal fragments found their way up into the cyllinder! ..

I have now made a COMPLETELY rebuild... the engine sounds clean and nice! no more rattles .. It has a special aircooled 2 stroke noise but not rattle sounds..

check it! or it CAN be expensive!

Well I have a tic tic sound on my bike when it idle's is that bad? or dose the bike have that sound

they all make noises. i was nervous about mine for a little while but if everything checks out ok then you should be good to go.

mine is not quite that rattly sounding but basically the same. that pipe sounds great. I:I I:I

Well the sound got louder after i put big carb on.. and i must say idle if NOT adjusted nor is it the right throttlecable installed.. It was just so he could hear the "normal" noise..

The rattle or what u call it is not as loud not with all the correct settings and higher idle..
