Hey guys I just bought a 2000 blaster to re do and the problem with it is that it starts fine but when u let of the clutch even in neutral it will just die clutch pulled in it revs fine and fires up fine but with it out it doesn't fire up

is the clutch binding when you let it out? does the bike lunge and stall? if so, you need to adjust the cable and probably the pushrod adjusting nut behind the clutch engne cover. If its not that, then it may be bad reeds, an airleak or a helluva dirty carb or all of the above.
With bike in neutral, engine off can you rotate rear tires? Kick engine over?

Yes yes and yes to Larry and I'm going to check all of those blaner thanks for the help the clutch isn't binding either but I am going to be cleaning up the wiring harness and everything too and also cleaning the carb and reeds are in good shape
I am wondering if there could be a problem with the kill switch that could be upset by movement if the clutch lever.
I think it's something electrical but it is now torn down to nothing and I'm going to be going through everything I got it for a steal and am going to make it my mx racer
