This may seem like a weird question, but i was wondering if there was any specific way to clean my blaster after a day of riding. Is it bad to spray it down with a hose?

Dont spray it while its still hot, but other than that no.

BTW, i have used tons of cleaners, but dawn dishsoap mixed in with water is the best imo. can spray it on the whole bike and then wash it down. Really cheap and works well.

first thing after a good cleaning soak it down with armorall everything metal and all when you goto clean it the next time it will be way easy.......hose is fine just stay away from the air intake filter

Make sure you get it good and dry after you wash it, and obvisouly be careful not to get h20 in the airbox. I usually start it up after a washing to let it get hot, and then ride around the block to get rid of any standing water.....which will rust your sh*t! Compressed air also helps to remove the excess water......and the one good thing wd40 does is protect metal frame parts from rusting away as they sit.

dollar general stores sale a cleaner called "awesome" it's in a generic looking bottle, comes in small spray bottle for $1, and 1/2 gallon refills for $3
i buy the 1/2 gallon size and spray it out of a bug sprayer.
best cleaner ever, and i've tried them all, this stuff makes my plastics whiter than a canadian girls ass !!!!!!!!
spray it on and watch even the driest dirt start to melt away, leave it sit for 5-10 minutes and hose it clean

i had really good luck with PURPLE POWER. i had baked on dirt on the engine. couldnt even tell it was black but an almost tan color! sparyed on at car wash and the went got my change etc. brought the the black back with a shine!! just be warned dont let sit to long or it will take the paint off!!!!
