i need help. i have a 00 blaster and the carb is messed up. it wont start without starting fluid, it wont run with the air tube connected, it boggs out in at mid throttle and we just rebuilt it. any help would be great thanks and this is my 1st time here....:-/

now we can get into diagnostics then, are u sure the floats are set correctly as well as the needle being properly seated
lol not exactly sure how its supposed to be but its all for sure placed back to the way it was before.. the funny thing is one day we were out riding parked for maybe 30-45 minutes and it wouldnt start again. there wasnt any reason for it to stop working it just did. it has a new filter, top end plug good fresh gas im stumped lol
ok im gana help/figure this out first do not use starting fluid it will be like runing it without oil and its a new topend you dont want to do that now fo the next thing are you saying you were runing it with the carb disconected from the intake boot (runs to the air box where the airfilter is) if so dont ever do that again answer those ? so i can fully understand the situation and then we can get to trouble shooting
well you here to learn the reason you shouldnt run without the air boot is because it will run lean without the proper jeting and im pretty sure you dont want a melted pistion.
now to the problem you said you clean the carb new plug and fresh gas did you clean and oil the air filter and check how the gas is flowing from the gastank

lol i just read a crap load of stuff on that and from what i can see yes it is disconected... so this is where im at now. filter removed same difference, it will start with 1 kick and idle fine but once i give it gas it boggs out and loses power and unless i get off the gas it will die...
