i've been working on my blaster, getting the oil injection blocked of, and removing tors, and trying to see why it's been fouling plugs. i put a frest plug it in and cranked it up and it ran for a few minutes and just shut off. i figured it just fouled another plug and didn't think anything of it because i didn't have time to work on it for a few days. well today when i pulled the plug, instead of reading it by color, wetness, etc, it read it by the little chunks of metal that were on it. yipee. i pulled the head and the top of the piston looked good, so i pulled the cylinder off and the skirt was busted and i had a few pieces of piston laying there. it wouldn't be a big deal to just put another piston in it, but i don't know what to do about the pieces of carnage that are now in my bottom end. what do you guys think?

Well I would put some mixed gas in the bottom end, and hand move the kickstart. This will flush alot of it out. After you do that for a bit to flush it out I put a piece of clean rag in there, and slowly crank it around dragging the rag through there to sweep some of th eleft overs out... repeat the entire process until you see no more fragments.

i dropped a wrist pin circlip in my crank case of my cr125 and i took the engine out of the frame and turned it upside down and squirted oil in it while turning it over and it came right out i imagine this would work for piston parts aswell but i would still do the rag thing after like mentioned above it will get all the small pieces out but the only way to be 100% sure you got everything out is split the case and clean it
