You can do a 400ex rear shock with the O'Conner bushings.

what year are those blaster shocks? they look different from others ive seen. did they change them over the years?

The blaster shock is a 2000. Not sure about the banshee one. I don't think they made any changes that I know of.

i am just going to assume that you are a sped.
look at them, they are the same f*cking shock, just one is white springs and the other is yellow.

i count 10 springs on the white shock and 12 on the yellow, on the white one, the coil spring has bigger gaps in between the coil. and what the f*ck is a "sped". anyone else see a difference? ????

the shock bodies are the same, ya the yellow spring is a little different.

thank you, (appology accepted.????:-/) if you notice, both shocks are adjusted to the softest setting on the preload. maybe yamaha changed the spring, or it could be a warrior shock?
