they are tough, especially if never removed before,
i like to heat them up with a propane torch to break loose the factory lok-tite, get a big cresent or pipe wrench on them with as long as a cheater bar/pipe you can fit on the wrench handle.
be sure your only on the outer nut first, the inner one will follow after you get the outer "jamb nut" loose
