just bought another blaster yesterday and wondering if its set up right. it has stock pipe, dg silencer, kn filter no airbox lid no TORS and 330 main jet, stock reeds and stock bore. is that jet size appropriate for the things done to it. i thought it might be a bit large but im not sure. it tends to bogout a bit when riding it around at half throttle on up. doesnt have abnormal smoke or anything and idles fine. just seems like its getting to much fuel or fuel and air for having stock pipe and reeds. lemme know if some one knows the specs. thanx

i thought it was a bit big, thanx a lot guys i really appreciate it. i will get some smaller jets. by the way what is a "plug chop"? again thanx a bunch

330 is ideal with the stock needle at sealevel, no lid, that is what I have always run in mine, 260 or 270 will melt the rings out with no lid at low altitude, if it is bogging, raise the c clip one to two positions, dropping the needle leaning it a bit. Also, don't be afraid to adjust the air screw, about one and a half turns out, second clip down and that thing will snatch in every gear, (make sure your air filter is clean) I always ran mine on the second clip position down from the top for crisp perfect jetting.

dude you are runnin a bb kit of course you need bigger jets. no way he needs that at damn near stock. I live in fl so i am pretty much at sea level and I ran a 330 with a few decent mods.

I'm currently on my 6th Blaster and 4 or them were on the stock bore with an FMF silencer only, I ran a 330 on each of those before and after modds, stock pilot 32.5, second clip down on the needle, no lid, 32:1 mix, even fully piped with reeds throttle response was crisp and it pulled strong through every gear, never any issues, never any residual build up on top of the piston. I am on the coast of NC.
