What does it connect to? I was trying to clean up and get rid of unwanted wires after removing my TORS and now I've found myself with a mess of cut wires that I don't know where to put. Schematics don't help me much as I don't know much about electricity but does anyone know what this wire connects to, and, any other information about removing unused wires after tors removal? Thanks in advance

hi, cant help much with the tors removal as mine was done when i got it :) but the black wire is an earth, although only if it is solid black, if it has a white strip through it, it is part of the kill system and there are a few other black cables with strips but im not sure what they are :)

wont effect spark mate, its more magneto, for developing voltage for lights Etc, tell me what you have where and i will try and help you :) i did mine today, as the person before me had trashed the wiring system, so could give you some tips....

I'm gonna go get a clymer manual, really didn't want to spend the money, I hope the manual lists the wiring in plain english. If not I'll post pics up here, thanks.

Ok, I got a manual and hooked up the wires best I could. No luck, so I pulled the flywheel off and checked it out. My question is, will I be able to feel obvious magnetic pull between the stator coils and the flywheel? I feel nothing, I think I might have ruined the flywheel.. When I initially disassembled it the plates inside the flywheel rotor were all corroded and rusted so I used a grey wheel to polish them. Anyone think this is my problem?
