bike stands ??

well you can lean them up against the wall nothing really wrong with that, its just that if you leave them sideways on the ground its more likely to drain out fuel and a few other things that i cant think of at the moment

if nobodies on the bike there isnt any real pressure on the shock at all, the shock doesnt compress much at all when nothing is on the bike

I still have the stand when from when I had my RM250. It didn't have a kick stand and I could put it where ever instead of leaning it on something. I never took the stand with me anywhere though.

I couldn't resist about a month ago, used my RacerX coupon for a mx bike stand, got it for 10.99. They said you can't utilize the coupon for 2 identical purchases. So they didn't say if I could come back later that day when they changed shifts and get a second. Now I've got 2 bike stands one for the blasty sometimes, kx250f, and the kx125(triangle stand).

Shhh, it's a secret.;)

The whole thing I was told about bike stands from the Pro Senior MX racer I bought my CRF450 off of told me is that that little bit of sag creates some pressure in the shocks, and if you store the bike for longer periods of time with weight on the shock/forks, they will start to leak. Guess what? The YZ250F that I didn't keep on a stand started to leak after I left it sitting for 6 months on its triangle alone. The CRF is kept on a center stand almost all the time. The YZ now has a center stand and It still sits dormant in my garage and the forks haven't leaked since then.
