Hey guys, just picked up a blaster by trading my parts 200s trike for it, so i have nothing into it, but im tight on cash and just want to ride this thing.....

I was told it needed a new piston, so i plan on doing the top end this weekend (measuring and ordering the parts)....

What i need help with is identifying anything that could be missing that i need before i bother with the top end.... I want to get her running before i finish the paint job he started and all that crap.... I was told the tors is removed and it has a twist throttle on it, oil block off and thats all i was told about it....

Waiting for the camera to charge, but i noted lots of unplugged wires, a missing fuel line (from the gas cap to carb i believe) just looking to see what else is missing....

The camera died after these pictures so i could not get to any of the detailed pictures i know theres nothing really too look at, but its charging back up right now so i can get pics under the plastics, under the seat, hood, carb and engine areas, thats what im really concerned with....

Gonna go out and put the airbox from the extra set of plastics it came with onto the bike cause i popped the seat and the airbox was missing....

Just want to make this a complete running bike before i mess with any aftermarket or cosmetic issues.... or cleanup the paint this guy got all over the carb, exhaust etc... painting was done the lazy way i guess...

Forgot to add..... Thanks in advance, really appreciate any help i can get to get this thing going as soon as possible on my super tight budget, got enough extra parts with this thing to build 2 other engine/tranny/clutch/exhaust setups so hopefully i can get rid of some of the extra parts to fund anything i need to purchase to get her going!!

THANKS! I hope its all there, its just the more i look at it the more it looks hacked he painted over almost everything and it looks like some of the wires are beat up and there gas lines missing and all that just looking for the small things, before i get into the bigger things....

All the brakes are there and work, all cables work (although could use new ones) clutch and all gears work etc.... Just looking at the lines, wires, hoses that type of crap that im not familiar with, this is my first 2 stroke and i have to spend my time figuring this out the right way....

I only have roughly $250-300 to work with for cash including what it will cost for the top end any any machining it might need from that.... Looks like im dumping some of the extra parts for more cash, i can see this thing nickel and diming me to death LOL

Im excited like a little kid! I wanna hear her run and rip it up, never rode anything but trikes before (4stroke) and i wanna have some fun!! This will be my trail machine and the trikes my mud/snow machines!

yeah nice paint job for sure they ought to have an age of like 30 to buy spray paint!!
sounds like you got a good deal though ..a top end will cost roughly 125-150 for machine work, piston and all gaskets. the wiring is simple like 3-4 wires to plug in from the engine to up under the seat. the gas cap hose is just a vent, and the tank to carb hose is easy.

LOL Yeah its a hack job, im gonna use the same paint for the parts of the frame they missed and the do the fenders the proper way, (and off the bike too lol)....

I have a paint gun i can use for the fenders.... Then after she purrs ill fix the rest like seat cover etc etc....

The plan is to tear the motor apart tonight so i can order the parts on Friday and find a machine shop around here.... Just striped the bike down ready to do the motor tonight after the kids go to bed B)

Looked the rest over it seems good, except id like new cables, the twisty throttle is good but the brake cables seem questionable although the breaks work good.... Just minor crap, and as a bonus i have a box with an ass load of motor parts to sell after i become a contributing member.... I:I:D

I know the pipe is a FMF Gold Series, but does anyone know what the silencer is??

Trying to figure out how they had it jetted when i check the sizes later when i clean the carb up....
