ok i heard from a buddy of mine that if i get a bigger carb then i can hit higher rpms that i cant even get with a stock. with that asked how would yougo about jetting a aftermarket or bigger carb and how much of a difference would it make??? thanks

depending on the carb, it will make a huge difference from stock, depedning on your upgrades. if you dont have any mods, a bigger carb wont be the best for you.

well ive got a fmf fatty gold series and about to have vforce3 reeds and a spacer plus i beleave my top end is 10 over and a power core 2 silencer. let me know what you think
Thanks

thats pretty much stock... But a bigger carb will help to an extent. dont go to big though if you plan on doing porting or a 240 or both I hear the airstryker 35mm Ithink its a 35mm is an awesome carb. I have stock 26mm mikuni 30 and 34mm as of now, but 34 on stock motor has no bottom end anymore. I would say a 32 at most with your upgrades and know that an fmf really isnt an upgrade. Just bustin FMF balls they arent that great.

You'd get 5x the results if you got it ported.
This should be your first mod after pipe and filter.
THEN the carb will really bring it to life.32 to 35mm
RB Racing is running a special on EBAY $125 dune port it is bada$$.

Sorry if I sound like a broken record.
But if you want noticeable gains get it ported...

LMAO, you two need to start a seperate thread in feedback section and just let it all out!!!

Seriously.

If you could spend $125 and get 8-10 hp
and you were about to spend close to that to get 2-3 hp
wouldn't you want to know about the better deal?

Too many people focused on bigger bores and carbs and they don't realize how crappy the stock port layout is.
Once people start to realize this we might have more really quick Blasters out there!
BTW I have a ported 240 cyl for sale, and if I was advertising, don't you think I would be telling everyone how badass my Blaster was with it on instead of telling everyone to port their stock cylinder?????...
