Best Comp. for a 240

So i was just wondering whats the best compression to run on a 240?Pro,s and con,s on how much is too much. ,140,150,160,180 or whats the best running and most reliable.Also if i have had the head milled already what do i tell the builder to get the correct setting for the head.ThanksI:I

That call is up to the owner. Are you needing to run pump gas? If so stay at 150lbs.

Well i set it up for pump but im willing next year to run half and half.Just wondering whats the best comp. to run it a blaster like this for trail ridding.Never really have read whats the best recommended high com.Just would like to know.Thanks

they seem to really run best at 175- 180 pounds in my opinion ,of coarse youl l want straight race gas though ...a stock head can only be machined safely by so much for pump gas applications or your engine could detonate

I'm running about 180 in mine and it runs very good. Haven't had any issues with it
