We all know that matching carb size to the state of tune of an engine is critical to ultimate performance and actually getting the perfect mixture everywhere, but im stuck..
I have a blaster, 66.5 mm bore (yamahas last oversize), with a very ported cylinder, a paul turner header, and a fat boy silencer, stock stroke, vforce reeds, and a head that was skimmed a barely noticeable amount by the previous owner..
Im runnin the stock carb with a 420 main jet, stock slow jet, open air box, and a needle i got from an fmf kit. needle is in 4th position (almost all the way rich).
Im looking for better breathing on the inhaling side, and i was looking at 3 carbs:
-Yamaha WR 200 (32mm)
-KDX 200 (32 or 34 mm)
-YZ 85 (28mm)
Which one? or what other should i look at?
