I am new to atvs and I recently bought a blaster. I need to get some new rear tires. The only riding I do is trails and some mud. Pretty much I need a good all around tire. It kind of worries me when I look at tires because I dont want to spend alot of money on tires that only last a few rides. SO I guess my question is what would be a good tire for me that will wear pretty slowly and take the abuse of the trails. Post links to where you guys buy them if you could. THANKS!

ive got itp holeshots theyre 4 ply and done good for me so far. theyre pretty pricey though. ive heard of kenda tires holdin up to some beatins and theyre not too bad in price. i would look at motosport.com if i were you. not the best prices but they have a good selection and you could find a tire you want and try to get em somewhere else for cheaper or just buy em off of motosport if you like the price
Check on Ebay my friend paid a little over 200 bucks for wheels all the way around on his quad they are called ambush kinda like a razr knock off and they hook up really good I am impressed with them they look good and the tread pattern is spiders lol.
If you have stock steel 8in wheels, I would seriously consider going to 9in rims. There are more types avaiable, and aluminum is lighter. Get a set of Banshee/Warrior/raptor/YFZ hubs that bolt right onto Blaster axle, then look on CL for tire/wheels from same machines. I run either 22/11/9 Mud lites on flipped Warrior rims, or Kenda Dominators 20/11/9 , Depending on which my son wants to run on his Banshee 
Only thing I don't like about the Mud lites is have to have them spinning if you want to slide it

I honestly think overall the best tires are the fronts and rears theyre putting on Honda 450Rs stock from the factory. Theyre Dunlops. Radials I believe. They are great tires but for me, I ride a very diverse set of trails, dirt, some pavement, and I cant run MX tires all the time. Id wear them out fast.

^^ Like this guy and one other guy has already stated, mud lites. Nothing wrong with running them on the stock 8" wheels but they will rub the metal things behind the pegs a tad when going around tight corners fast, so either remove them or get spacers, or wheels with an offset.
If you run trails and want a tough tire for trails, I would go with 22" mud lite. they don't slide around much because they grip so well....if that can be considered a complaint, haha. Kenda klaws are similar tire, dominator is also a good mix for trails and will slide around more too.
I recommend 22" tire as you get a little more clearance and power loss is minimal to negligible...just get reeds and a pipe. I'm 230 and my blaster rips with me and 22" mud lites.
One thing to keep in mind is that the Kenda Bear Claw 22x12x8 weights 25#s, 22x12x9 weights 22.34#s.

good info man rep. and i also like rockin 22inch tires and i still get high topped from rubbin skid. I guess riding were 4x4s do and then letting it dry up lets huge asss ruts apear.
Yep, you must be just like me, using your blaster where you should be riding a 4x4 quad, haha!! Gotta maintain the trails as best you can though. You should see my baja rear skid, I'm ready to throw it away and get a new one it's so banged up!!
im in the same boat...the colorado rocky mountains dont do me justice on my blaster but i give er hell
also contemplating getting new tires since im running stock, want something small i dont like the huge ones. What should i get?
Something small, a bigger front sprocket, and a hell of a skidplate for your axle.
Maxxis Razrs in a 6 ply, theyll last and last, and theyre great for spraying your buds with mud!
