Before motor pics.

Well tomorrow i am send my motor off to sicivicdude to get a good amount of motor work.(will post the list later) Well heres some before pics of what it looks like now. sorry there not the best sorry there from my phone. iS that normal for the piston to look like that? its runnin wayyy rich but i didnt want to mess with jettin since i was gettin motor work done soon.

Thought the same but didnt see any leaks by the eye. and never had a compression test on it looks like there was a tiny if any scoring.

yeah ran fine just like a champ took it out for the motor work

Piston looks great, that's just normal carbon build up.

Mine was completely cover with carbon on top when I got it.

yeah i know carbon builds up was just curious on why it was in a funky pattern like that but i guess it is fine prob

ya just carbon build up. If your running rich, i beleive the carbon build up tends to center itself on the piston. Mine was running really rich before i rebuilt my carb and my piston looked exactlly like that before i replaced it.

thats a good burn pattern on that piston crown...perfectly normal

ya nothing to worry about dude. If the carbon build up was on the edge of the piston, i would be more worried.

yeah im runnun about 2 jet sizes to big at the moment but didnt feel like changin because 2 rides later i was plannin on motor work and hear im at.
