more then likely it is there
but you need to take it out
soak it in a cup of carb cleaner
perhaps blow it out with compressed air or a small wire then
hold it up to a light and you should be able to see through it...

after you have done that and have been chasing the carb with no luck then it is something else,that is wrong

compression
electrical ect
some pics of your quad would really do some justice at this moment
i bet we could see some things you dont see

What about your idle screw??? You said you only had one screw, that would be your air screw, without an idle screw it won't idle properly
