bdads new toy!

Just picked this up today,
It's a restored Toro Professional 70 Reelmaster fairway mower.
It was just professionally serviced by Spartan Distributors in Sparta,Mi.
They replaced all the bearings, bushings, drive chains, belts, coil, points, condenser, & sharpened the reels & bedknives.
It had been stored under a tarp since last summer with Stabil in it
in a barn that looked like it was about to fall down, (The barn in front of it did this winter )
We uncovered it, put some gas in it, & it started on the first pull, idling perfect!
This thing is fun as hell just to drive around, I can't wait to mow the lawn with it.

only a redneck would be proud of their new mower. just kidding man. if i had more grass than a 10' x 10' patch then i would be proud to own a mower too. i just cut mine with scissors. its small enough

lol the nicest part about moving to az from rural ohio is no longer having my dad call me up on saturday morning to mow the 10acre lawn..all work and no play makes alex miss saturday morning looneytoons

nice mower. Are you able to set the height at which it cuts at? If not, I would think it would cut too close for normal grass.

They are adjustable from just the tops of the dandelions to shave the ants' asses, lol.

I used to work at a cemetary in texas, and we had three of them mowers that I had to maintain. they cut very nice when setup correctly.
