Ok so I bought a 00 shee, just put weisco pistons (.020over) weisco rings, fmf gold series expansion chambers and silincers, cool heads, fmf boost bottle(i know they dont do anything) K&N filter with air box on. I just put 280''s for the main, needle clip is at stock 3rd location, pilots are stock #25.

So after i got it back from the machine shop i threw the motor on put the jets in and syncd the carbs via by eye. I put some gas in and it started up on the second kick. Then I noticed the right pipe wasnt getting as hot as the left one. so i shut it off. came out the next day and it would not fire up. unless i pop started it.

I have the air screws out 1 1/4 turns on both carbs. Sometimes the idle would just go up really high on it's own and would not come back down, so i would just shut it off.

I am going to go work on it again, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions why it wont start with out a pop start and the idle jumping up ?

Should i change the jets ? I live in upstate ny. thanks

cole, sweet the leak down tester looks almost the same as my BLT(boost leak tester ) that i made to find leaks in my charge pipes and intercooler on my talon

yeah id say airleak for hard starting and reving, but for the left pipe being hotter id say its your float height on the left side.

Did you connect the choke crossover tube? do you have the rite bowls in the rite carbs? carb caps going all the way down? What cc domes are you running?
