Banshee front shocks

I just put some banshee front shocks on my blaster and they seem really stiff. Has anyone else had this problem? I also installed a 400 ex rear and it is nice and soft. Did i get a set of bad banshee shocks?

when i had banshee shocks on mine they were stiff but not as still as the stockers.

They're adjustable... somewhat. Where do you have them set? If they're too stiff, run them out to the least compressed setting. We're set in the middle right now, but haven't had a chance to test them yet- something about a broken piston skirt.

I have them set in the softest position and i would say they are twice as stiff as the stockers

naw i like my banshee fronts alot better then stocks

When i stand on the front bumper the front end goes down only 2 inches. There must be something wrong with them :-/

maybe there seized, my stockers were stiff as hell, the banshees on the softest setting were alot better. do you know what year yours came off of?

I don't know the year but they do not look new. It almost feels like they are seized but if i jump on the bumper they seem to move fine but they are still stiff. The guy i got them from said there was nothing wrong with them so i just want to make sure before i accuse him of selling me bad shocks. Thanks for the help.

i know if i stood on the front bumper and jumped i could make mine go down a fair ways, and im only 150 pounds, maybe there just old??

I guess i'll ride it for a bit and see how they work. I hope they loosen up.

are you sure you have them on the softest setting? maybe you got mixed up and there on the hardest setting

I'm sure they are on the softest setting. Here are some pics of them. They do look like older i think.

They are probably f*cked. I bought some off ebay and they lost all rebound after 3 rides.

I'll give you mine. That way youll have one that compresses good and one that rebounds good.

lol yah... i guess i'll look for some works or something. It's hard to tell what banshee shocks are good on ebay. Some are selling for over $100 and some for $20.
