The blaster uses a-arms on the top and bottom of the front suspension. The shock goes through the middle of the upper and mounts to the lower.

The 87-90 banshees didn't have an upper a-arm. They had a lower a-arm that the shock attached to and then an upper j-arm. The j-arm is sort of like a single side of the a-arm. In this case, the front side.
