banshee 6th gear as blaster 7th?

not entirely a bad idea, I commend anyone for thinking outside the box, The blaster 6th gear is .905:1 already an overdrive. 6th on a banshee is .875:1 so theorhetically it would be slightly taller. The only problem is that the gears and shafts are not compatible. You would be better served to change the primary ratio (gear on the crank and the gear on the clutch basket) which would increase theorhetical top speed. While not knowing the gearing/direct compatibility you could research the wr200, the dt 200 etc. Of course you would have to do corresponding engine work to pull the taller gears.

I haven't needed 6th yet!! I'm such a slacker. We just trail ride and maybe 5th out at the dunes.

Actually thinking of changing my banshee to a 5 speed.... or actually changing/upgrading the trans a UP only 1 -5.

do you know the top gear ratio numbers for the wr and dt 200?
