I am powder coating a blaster head to toe. I am in the process of prepping the a-arms and I see the ball joints are one with the a-arm. I took the rubber boot off but does anyone know whats in that ball joint cup? I will be heating this thing up to around 400 degrees and I don't want to wreck anything in there.

if you get them rubber things off, its a straight pain in the ass to get them back on, took me over an hour a to get them both back on properly.

Ive talked to reed about it and he said its not even worth it. You have to bake at a certain temp for so long then repeat a few times.
Thanks for the input. I just decided to paint them. It will be much easier anyway to just mask off the ball joints then to try and strip the factory finish up to them. I will post pics of this thing soon. It's candy red and black from top to bottom and is gonna look sick when finished.
