Fresh rebuild on top end of my 02 blasty, I rode it today and at a certan rpm just above idle it vibrates a lot I can feel it through the handlebars it does it when I'm moving and not moving both .. Other than that the power is fine just vibrates, any ideas?

Make sure you lined up the dots on the counter balencer gear and the main drive gear. theres 2 dots if there not lined up the counterballencer wont "counterballence" and the crankshaft will cause that vibrating.

if its not that, then just make sure all you engine mount bolts are tightened down.

I've never did any work on the bottom end, and all bolts are tight, could using 87 octain when I'm soposed to use 93 cause this? I wouldn't think so ?

No I took them off when I took the head off to check the cylinder after break in, but that wouldn't make it vibrate that much would it?

put them back on they are there for a reason
i dont know how much they affect things ,but, they are there to lessen vibrations, that i do know, give it a try

Ok, put the rubber vibration dampers back in and stil vibrates, has a little less knocking and rattling but this vibration is ruff

try doing that

Well, I rode it again and when it vibrates it also makes a noise that sounds like the pistons hitting the head or something... I'm bout to give up on this bike I have nothing but bad luck
