bad chain roller

ok im 13 and i have a 96 blaster i think the chain roller is bad but im not sure if thats the problem it started jerking and jumping like the chain was slipping off the teeth after doin a doughnut it looks chewed up but im not sure if it would cause a problem like this heres a pic thanks for the help in advance

heres how i do it loosen the bolts that hold the bearing carrier to the swing arm and then on the back there 2 adjuster bolts loosten them to make the chain looser or tighten the bolts to make the chain tighter and then tighten the carrier bolts back up and ride it
 
ok i tried that but found out its a little more serious i have a bad rear axle bearing ...are they alot of trouble to put in?
 
not really, you just have to unbolt your carrier. the worst part of doing that, is taking those two nuts off that hold your axle in place. there a biotch to undo, and its a little hard pounding out the axle.
