some tires, like the kenda klaws can be run eityher way depending on the hardness of the terrain you ride, you can have them on one way for hard ground or the other way for soft ground
Backwards grab and forwards dig. It depends on the riding surface which way is gonna work better and also personal opinion.
Take my Kenda bearclaws they will almost tear up the lawn jes pushing the blasty across it. Put them on backwards and grass still gets beat down but not uprooted
the same principle applies to all directional tires.....take the mickey thopson baja claws for trucks.....they are designs to dig and push through the mud. when you get stuck they get better traction in reverse to help you get another run at it. but a lot of folks run them backwards all the time cause they dont wanna back up.
blasters cant back up so why not get the better grip the whole time???
