axle swap

thinking of an axle swap either a banshee or it this will fit because of the nice pricetag... will it? i read in some threads about the brakes.. i have an 05 so what exactly is the deal, i know the 03+ have the correct hub but what else would be needed?

i might have a friend weld my swing arm to +3 only need a longer chain, correct? if welded after the shock mount..

shee axels are nice, lookat my avatar, thats how wide my quad is in the back with a shee axel.

found my answer shee hubs and axle... sounds like an awesome upgrade... wonder if it would look WAY odd with a set of durablue +2 or +4 shee axle set to +2 I think would be plenty.. thinkin I want it stronger while I'm at it, WHEN I get my blaster it's on my to do list

Don't want to steal your post but I have a 03 blaster and was looking at also puting a banshee axle on it and what I can gather from this post and other I looked at all I would need to do this is a banshee axle if I need anything else to swap my axle with a banshee axle please let me know. Thanks

that's basically what i'm wondering.... but i think the answer is definitely No. you could upgrade to a hydro brake system that some guy on here could build the mount for you?? i have no clue, people are kinda vague and i don't really know exactly what this entails...


the link from ebay i posted... the TRIKE axle.. WILL that work on my blasty??? and if so.. does anyone know the width? as wide as shee or no?

u only need the axel, everything else from a 03+ blaster swaps over, if u have a older one, idk what all u need, i went ahead and put in new bearings and seals when i put it on, just for good measure, u guys will also want wider a arms, flipped tires, or spacers up front, i'm gonna flip my fronts with these stems....
