Hey, everyone. I just joined. You seem like a knowledgeable bunch of people... Maybe you can help me out.
I just picked up a 96 Blaster, which runs very well and feels quite strong, and I'm running 32:1 premix. After about 3 hours (over two days or so) of running time, it started leaking what looks alot like 2-stroke oil (kinda reddish in color) all over the ground. I traced the leak to the split between the case and the right side engine cover- right where the autolube pump is... I think. It leaks from the rounded part of the cover on the front face of the engine. What can be done to stop this leak? I don't want to start tearing the thing down unless I have to. The oil tank is about half full- I'll watch to see if that goes down, making sure that's what's bleeding out, but will this stop if I empty that tank?
I read something about a block-off kit. What will that get me and how do I install it?
