auto lube cover question ?

i got a 99 blaster preowned and previous owner removed the autolube pump. is there anyway that they could have removed the pump and not blocked off the hole. on the cover there is a rubber grommet in the top where maybe the hoses ran through.my bike has an airleak somewhere.

doesnt take much time to remove the luber cover and check.

the auto lube cover is not a place where you will have an air leak. impossible. but it is possible to have an oil leak in there

i dont have to replace any gaskets?

i know the clutch cover has a gasket, but im not 100% on the pump cover having a gasket. im sure someone will chime in with a definate

For just that cover no... but if you take off the clutch cover I recommend replacing that gasket

If you haven't noticed oil dripping out then its probably blocked off or if your losing oil but what is it 3 bolts?
