Are there other engines?

Howdy Pardners...

I got to thinking, a bigger motor would be fun in the blasty.

Are there motors from other quads or even dirtbikes that will bolt right in?

What are some of the do's and dont's?

Anyone know of a list of compatible engines, please point me to it.

well, i guess the dt200 motor isn't too bad to put in, but as far as anything else, your gonna have to fabricate things like engine mounts, radiator mounts, and adapt a pipe to fit the frame. then anything is possible, you could throw a 302 in there if you wanted just so you extend the frame lol. but realistically i've heard of yz250 motors in them but you really have to strengthen the frame.

the yz400f engine is a close bolt on and is not bad for modifying the blasty for it. talk to paulie about that if you go ahead with that. his blaster has one in it.

get a port and polish with a big bore kit for the blasty motor and u should get alot of power out of that
