anyway????????

i was just curious cause ive heard of people just wrapping the wire around where the boot would connect?

had a plug boot burn up, way out in the middle of nowhere, skinned the wire back, wrapped the wire around the plug end, then cut and slid a piece of the boot over it to hold it on
ran like sh*t spittin and sputtering the whole way home, but it made it !

you may get it to start, but thats prolly gonna be it, may not run well enuf to do any tuning ?

be sure to not trim too much off, or you'll end up needing a wire/coil instead of just a new boot

Yup, it should run OK, I once fitted a coil with a plug lead thet was 2 inches too short.

Pared back the insulation, lengthened the wire with some copper wire stripped from a loom and wrapped it around the terminal of the plug.

Take heed, it has to be at least 1 inch away from any ground.
