Hi guys i have a chance off buying brand new reiger shocks for my blaster.

the Guy measured them eye to eye and there reading at 39 and a half cms. which i think is about 15 and a half inches and if im correct the stock a-arms are 14 and a half inches? just wondering if its possible to adjust them yourself to fit the 14 and a half.

thanks

you may get away with 1" longer shocks, watch for ball joint binding.
i believe the only way to shorten them is professionally, cut shaft and re-thread, setting the pre load weaker does not shorten them

i ran 16-1/2" works triple rates on the black bike with stock a-arms, it destroyed the ball joints in 1 season,
you may be Ok with just 15-1/2" ?

yeah man :) i am hoping guy said there adjustable but not sure il see as they might be fine but need to see. if it comes to it il keep them and wait until i get other a-arms as i am guessing long travel arms would fit them?

ASR will make you a-arms for any length shock you want

I have ASR long travel A-arms and they take a 16 inch shock!

yeah man either way if i can get away with fitting them and just run a inch longer but awk gave me a idea to use if i can't get them fitted. was to cut the lower arm mount and move it so it fits that way. was told to weld a mount on frame but as awk said its cheaper to replace a lower wishbone arm than it is a frame lol but guy is getting back to me today or tomorrow so should have shocks by tuesday :)
