88, you commented on my thread about the spare blasty. Did you actually look at the pics?
It's called "aluminum brazing" but it's actually more like aluminum soldering. The fix is metal and permanent (unlike JBweld) but not particularly pretty. I'm skimming the repair with quicksteel (which I also do not consider permanent, sorry AWK) to make it smooth and plug two pin holes the brazing left. The final product should be permanently sealed barring any more chain excursions and look halfway decent.
