I've got an 84 Atc250r with a broken expansion chamber. It is not repairable.
I know its a long shot with these old atc's but does anyone here know if there are any other years that the expansion chamber works with the 84.
I believe the frame was changed from 82-83 so I would need a 83 or 84 expansion chamber which is fkin hard to find...

The only pipe on ebay (and has been for a couple months) is a DG which is extremely over priced for a crap pipe. I dont care if its for a 27 year old bike... Its still a DG pipe

i believe the dg for other bikes were ok, it's just the blaster ones they copied the stock pipe ?????

Yea, thats all im looking for. The thing already hauls dick and I cant justify spending $170ish on a DG pipe

I had a DG on my 250R Trike. O|EM and DG were the only two resoable ones I could find at the time.

The DG pipes are great pipes, people that just dont know sh*t about building engines and pipes just dont know enough about them.

The DG blaster pipe was not designed after the stock pipe it was designed after the FMF gnalry. The DG pipe is a low-mid range torque pipe. people think they suck because they dont have the top end like the FMF fatty or Toomey has... but for a woods bike, trails and mud/snow the DG is still a great pipe.
we dyno tested the DG against FMF fatty and SST, PC and Toomey. Overall the toomey was the best pipe with the widest power curve and highest HP. The DG only produce 2hp more then stock but the low and midrange power was the highest of any pipe we tested.

People said the same thing about the FMF gnarly and it got such a bad rap the they pulled it from the line-up, but build yourself a high comp, high volume CC blaster designed for low and and slap on a DG and you have a stump pulling, torque monster.
