anyone know about this bike or swap?

I was looking info up on my kdx and seen where the yamaha dt200 dirtbike engine was being called a kdx twin.I looked pics up and they sure look a lot alike and got to thinking has anyone put one of the dt200 dirtbike engines in a blaster or even the kawi since they look identical?the kdx has 37hp stock and in a blaster would be fun.so what do u guys think about either engines the dt200 specs I found said 27hp so 10hp less don't sound like a good idea.

I believe the dt200 is a common swap. look in the swap section.

dt200 has been done plenty of times... cr500s a few times 250 2 strokes a few times, few street bike motor swaps.. i wanna stuff a 400ex motor in my 200x trike lol

I beleive macdizzy did a dt200 swap into a blaster. His site has more info than you can comprehend about 2 strokes. He has a full article covering his dt200 into a blaster swap and why it was a good idea.
