Anyone have experience with this before?

I'm thinking about starting my own forum for ak riders since ther isn't one and aod sucks for sport quad/dirt bike owners.. I don't want to lose any money if it flops so to see if there is an interest I'd host it on a free site, I've done some searching and freeforums.org seems like the most professional and cleanest looking hosting site.. has anyone ever used it before? was it 100% free? no spam? ect.

sounds like an awesome idea.. i host my personal non atv related business site for $200 a year, its my personal wood milling business but researching getting a personal site it's a little costly so i can see how "supporting member fees" help out.. I will donate for this site as soon as i can cause i know it takes money to exist!!!!!... Just search around and find what best fits your needs.. Just remember its a lot of work involved in starting a site, especially managing a decent forum!!!!!!!!!!!!

For sure. I've been an admin before so setting up my own forum shouldn't be too hard. But like you said it does cost money! That why I'd like to try a free hosting site first so if it flops I don't lose anything, then later down the road if it is succsessful I can upgrade to my own thing.
