ah awesome and nope lol trying to save to buy a blaster as got 2 bikes to sell in bits but getting it away quite quick actually. but only got £500 towards one lol wanting one with a fully race prepare.(upgrades shocks,swingarm,a-arms blah blah )

Why did you sell your blaster, buy bikes and now sell bikes for a blaster?
And you said you were going to keep your previous elka shocks?

i haven't just yet as i know if i see one i want il go on and on at my gran for the money lol. il be looking on ebay or gumtree bud. probs have to travel anywhere from 10-1000 miles(return trip) for one but iv got a guy to do it yeah mate i know lol some of them you see have been wrecked,messed with or plain idiots that have them. i bought my previous one for £500 quid. needed a piston only. i ended up spending about £1700 on it by upgrading the shocks,tors removal etc etc and parted it ou and make like £1300 ahha. if you manage to get a blaster bud and if you ever need help with rebuilds,fixing frame parts,fault finding etc i will help you out as i know them inside out if you mechanically minded you will learn quick and quick if you aren't as there easy to work on lol.

i know man i regret it but i am buying one with all the upgrades so i only need to do it to my colors. and i was but no point if im buying one with elkas or better shocks like pep etc.

Yeah ive got a white 2006 , fmf system , widened axle and the rest is pretty much stock.

Absolutely love it and have a few mods in mind however im waiting for a leak down kit in the post, engine developed a knocking/piston slap noise.

I know a a bit about these 2 stroke engines but not totally mechanically.

Used to race in the yz80 class as a boy so its been a while! Thats good to know ill probs be picking your brain all the time now lol! I got offered elka stage 4 with resiss for 200 but apparently they need eyes? Can u shed any light on what this means lol

need the bearings i think there called. not sure on the price though only thing i know is for a service its £200 per shock.

Or to take the gamble, he says they dont need serviced or rebuilt.... But am not so sure

ah did you win them bud? or bid on them. i was bidding on a front and rear set they sold for like 155.i didn't bother as buying quad with them on it when i find one that is lol.

yeah bud they ended last night. i didnt bother as i suspected they would need work as they sold for cheap.

Yeah i thought this too.. It was deffo the same set.

I was in two minds, to bid more and win them but av a slight feeling theres some work needing done to them.

He measaged me tho asking me if i still wanted them... Dunno what to do tho...
