designed quite a few
best thing to do is to keep it clean
dont use bright colors that stand out use lighter tones it distracts the eye too much
keep it tidy
dont put 10 different topics on your site make it for one or two specific things such as your quad bike and an area on your racing with other topics on how you built it a gallary and such
and if your making the design on photoshop make sure everything single item even the smallest is on a different layer than the one before
