Any Tips on Exhaust Gasket???

Im having an extremely difficult time trying to get the crush gasket in between the engine and the header. I cant get it to stay centered inside the flange, and when I go to mount the header, it moves out of place. Im guessing this is why my exhaust is extremely loud.

Any tips on keeping the gasket in place while bolting on the header?

small dabs of RTV on the outside of it to hold it up there

take a little dab of rtv like stated o use a very small dab of grease. they ill both glue it into place temporarily till you get it seated.
