I'm looking to upgrade my video card but don't want to spend alot, was wondering what y'all recommend. Right now I have a Gigabyte gts 250, it's treated me well but I would like to upgrade into dx11 with something decent that won't break the bank.
Not the most beastly specs but I built an AMD phenom x4 black edition running at the stock 3.4 Ghz. It's got 8 gigs of G.Skill ddr3 memory, no problems with it at all. AsRock mobo, I like the OC app it comes with but I wouldn't have bought it if I would have done more research first, it's kinda dated. Also have a 64 GB SSD drive as my main, they are fast!! Power off to full desktop is like 9 or 10 seconds. This setup has been going for over two years now with no problems, and it's decent...it's not the best of the best but I like it. Ohh!! forgot to mention my case, it's the Cooler Master HAF series, it's a bit big but it's rugged as hell and has plenty of room and tons of fan options and liquid cooling grommets in the back. I'm running 6 120mm fans in this bad boy but the mounts are setup so you can run different fan sizes and configurations. This is my favorite piece of the whole build, I recommend it 100%.
