2006 blaster wont start. 132 psi on the compression test. TORS bypassed (unplugged under hood and at carb and spliced on harness side at both ends).Parking brake bypassed (under hood followed wires from front brake and unplugged.Flywheel key is good.Checked for spark and is good.Cleaned carb but tried starting fluid just to see what would happen and nothing.What else could there be? Just picked it up a couple of weeks ago. It didnt run supposedly needed a clutch and wasnt getting any spark.I bypassed all that was mentioned above, replaced clutch, replaced coil and still wont even try to crank. Going to check reeds now since I searched and read that could keep it from cranking.But i thought for sure it would at least try to start with the starting fluid.Im lost at the moment.help.

Have you tried a new b8es spark plug?
Sometimes a plug will spark on the outside but will breakdown under compression and not work.
Is the float bowl filling with gas?
Only yesterday I had a bike that would not fire up even with a shot of ether, float was sticking and no gas was getting in.

The parking brake switch is located on the stock clutch perch on 03-06 models and the rear brake is the parking brake not the fronts! However I don't think that is the problem. I never was able to get my 2005 harness with tors/Pk brake delete to work, ohmed the wires even added a few extra grounds so I was given a 2002 harness which has the brake light switches, new style light switch 4 pin plug (white)-no parking brake, and the tors you just leave unplugged, worked first time I fired it up! You will need a 88-02 cdi box to complete this.

After I checked the reeds, which were fine, I tested the spark again and wouldnt you know there was no spark. I figured I wasnt grounding the plug good but after 15 minutes of moving it around and kicking it still no spark. I had to quit to go pick up my daughter and when I got back I just couldnt believe it so I tried it again. First kick orange spark. Second kick blue spark. Third kick orange spark. Every kick after that nothing. What is going on. Its got to be the stator or cdi box. Will the flywheel and stator on a 95 blaster fit an 06?

That sounds like a tors issue. And same thing my 05 was doing. sometuimes it would start for 8 seconds then nothing, will not fire back up until the next day for 8 seconds and nothing- Guys have done the tors delete on the 03-06 models with success, I could not get it to work for me no matter what I tried, and I tried all the delete post out there! However i haven't tried a new CDI control unit on it!

just this weekend i've had weird goings on with the tors and parking brake. i was getting a healthy spark and would fire for a few seconds but wouldn't run. earthed the yellow and black from CDI, and left yellow/green open and runs fine, weird because this was the other way round on my old blaster, Hope you get it sorted

will check back to see findings.hey guys sorry to kinda thread jack here but i desperatly need help with my brothers blaster, was running really well after we overhauled it and now all of a sudden it runs terribly(please see attached video). Weve tried swapping carbs with a working bike and that didnt help,tried a new spark plug...ddnt help, also checked the reed valve which looks ok,compression is about 115psi, could it be part of the electrical system thats broken, perhaps the cdi?

lol, Wasnt That, Seems There Was A Problem With The Two Wires That Go Into The Thing That sits above the carb that controlles the plunger and needle, are they for the tors?
