Ive got a LRD adj. header, and i havent got any clue about this pipe. Ive notticed it slides into its self shortning or lengthening. why is that? could i use this as a power maker or power killer?

not sure if this is how it goes i may have it backwards but it will give ya the idea longer is more lower end power and shorter is more top end power i might have this wrong but it gives you an idea some corect me if i am
just aquired one of these myself recently, and plan on doing a head to head test against my F7, but someone just told me adjusted all the way in is for top end, and all the way extended is for low end, but supposed to be awsome pipes
