a while back i explained how i crashed my honda recon into my mud pit.

well it happened again! except i just got very very VERY stuck.

i haven't been in that mud pit in months. i finally got time yesterday and i got stuck bad. the water was 2 inches from coming up to the exhaust. i was stuck so i planned on coming down in the morning and getting it. it rained last night. HARD. the swamp got twice as deep. water went right up the exhaust and water flooded my airbox. i went over to my neighbors house and asked him if i could barrow his tractor. he said yes and came down with me. i tied a tow strap to the honda and gave it a big tug. it came out. i stood the bike on it back and let all the water drain out. then came the moment of truth. i hit the start button and guess what happened? it fires right up. proof that hondas are bullet proof. not that yamahas are not :)

I had my polaris up to the rear rack in water thats like probably 6 inches over the muffler all it took was a little tug from the big quad to get it unstuck and mine is only 2wd so 4wd I never would have been stuck. Shows polaris is bullet proof. If reckon my dads was sunk about 1 foot over the handle bars in 30 degree weather and hmmmm 6 years later it still runs like a champ.

My bud who goes down to busco all the time. He has 31" outlaws on his 420 rancher.

yah, i submerged my dads bayou 200, we let the water drain and it fired rite up, then we changed the oil and it is just like new, lol

my dad was pissed and said that i couldn't respect our machines so now i can't ride the honda anymore. its more of the family atv. everyone rides it. but i still have my grizzly and the blaster

yeah he has the highlifter output shaft reduction. It's the 21% I think. It's designed for turning 29.5's like stock tires so it's like he's turning 26's with those 31's

I've had a 1990 Suzuki Quadrunner 250 up to the fenders in water. Doesnt go any deeper because it just floats after that.
And then at a ride around here called Rumble on the Ridge, I put my 2001 YZ250F in a puddle up to the bottom of the fenders, stayed in there a while until someone who knew how to work their winch came along. When they attached the winch I had to sit on the rear fender to keep it from endo'ing. The silt on the bottom of the puddle was over my front axle. Got it out, buddies told me to come up to them and one of them would tow me out with their bike. I gave it 5 kicks and it came back to life no problems at all
