and my top end blows today

Your running the Oil injector? wont supply enough oil to keep it lubed up.. you might mix a little oil in your gas if your gonna run that injector..

just a thought

well i hope u figure it out.so it will warn other members of what not to do
but it sounds like lack of lube.cant wait too see what caused the problem

wow not cool trust me i know -.-
out riding with a friend of mine and then it just stoped running and stalled and then i went to kick and no compression i push it with my finger
the oil injection had failed and it siesed my piston. you need a bore hone rings and piston.

sorry to say.

did you do a proper break in procedure and re torque? that sucks though man. if you didnt re torque, it could have caused an air leak and bang. when i replaced all my gaskets a while back, i put my top end back on, torqued my bolts, went riding, came home and didnt re torque. next day i go to start it and bang, bog bog bog. so i was lucky and didnt screw anything up and was able to put everything back together and go ride.

um this is not true the reason people remove them is because people say they are known to fail not because they dont suply enough oil

well there's good news and bad news, bad news being a crank bearing wasn't installed the right way which caused the metal/metal sound to occur and the good news is, i just saved 15% on my car insurance by switching to geico....but my top end is not blown!

sounds lke you may have dodged a bullet this time. fix it and then do the leakdown test on it.

an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

so i really lucked out with my bike, the guy who threw the big bore kit on for me said a stator cover screw came out and was lost and there was water in the stator which caused one of the crank bearings to seize up and now she works beautiful
